About Piper

Piper came to me in a very interesting way. I adopted her from a family that could no longer keep her. Piper is medium drive and needs a lot of space to run. Initially, I had no information about her, but I could tell just by looking at her she was a purebred German Shepherd. Shortly after bringing her home, I had a DNA test done using Embark (the canine version of 23 and Me) which looks at over 200,000 DNA markers to determine a dog's genetic make-up. I was so happy with the results showing that Piper was indeed 100% German Shepherd.  It even provided me with information of several of her relatives throughout our country and around the world.

Testing Information:

-Piper is average in size weighing 70 pounds.

-Piper  has been OFA tested with good hips and normal elbows

-Piper has also tested negative for Degenerative Myelopathy.

-Piper is full of energy and loves to play. She has a high ball and food drive.
